Agreement Between User and Precious African Hair Braiding
Welcome to Precious African Hair Braiding. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our services, including any appointments, products, and communications made through our platforms or in-person. By booking an appointment, making a purchase, or otherwise interacting with our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
Business Overview
Precious African Hair Braiding is a braiding studio located in Hermitage, Tennessee, offering professional African hair braiding services and select beauty products.
Booking Policy

Appointments Only: We operate strictly by appointment. Walk-ins are not accepted.

Deposit Required: A non-refundable, non-transferable deposit is required to secure your appointment.

No Call / No Show: Clients who do not show up for their appointment without notice will forfeit their deposit and may be restricted from future bookings.

Children Appointments: Children must be between the ages of 8–11 to be considered for kids' services. Children under 8 are not accepted for service.

No Drop-Offs: Clients must remain present for their service unless otherwise discussed.
Product Purchase and Return Policy
For hair products purchased online:

Returns must be requested within 7 days of delivery.

Products must be unused, unopened, and in original packaging.

A prepaid return label will be provided upon approval of your return request.

Once received and inspected, refunds may take 5–7 business days to appear in your bank account.
Photography & Social Media
By booking with Precious African Hair Braiding, you grant permission to capture and use images or video of your hair for promotional use on our website, social media, and marketing materials. No monetary compensation will be given for this use.
Electronic Communications
When you contact us by text or email, you consent to receive communications electronically. You agree that all agreements, notices, and other communications we provide electronically satisfy any legal requirements that such communications be in writing.
Your Responsibility
You are responsible for:

Ensuring your hair is properly detangled and clean unless you are booked for a wash.

Arriving on time. Tardiness of more than 15 minutes may result in cancellation or rescheduling at your expense.

Keeping your contact and appointment information accurate and up to date.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Precious African Hair Braiding and its team from any claims, demands, liabilities, or damages resulting from your misuse of our services or breach of these Terms.
Liability Disclaimer
Precious African Hair Braiding is not liable for:

Any allergic reactions, scalp sensitivity, or damage due to pre-existing conditions or lack of proper aftercare.

Lost or stolen items during your appointment.

Services performed on compromised or unfit hair when the client chooses to proceed against stylist advice.
Disputes & Governing Law
All disputes related to these Terms will be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of Tennessee. Any unresolved disputes may be handled through arbitration, and both parties waive the right to class actions or jury trials.
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updates will be made available in our studio and/or via electronic communication.
